On the sidelines of the African Union summit in Addis Ababa, Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh met on Saturday with his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall, pleading for the implementation of a railway project Will link Djibouti to Dakar. It is for President Guelleh to open up the African continent as a whole and further facilitate communication between Africans, Xinhua Agency (ADI) reported on Sunday.
"There are links that are lacking for the effectiveness of this railway in order to succeed in opening up Africa from east to west, from north to south. But we expect a lot from Senegal to pull a part of the African continent, "said the Djiboutian head of state.
